The Best Grilled Chicken


  • 2 pounds of Chicken (breast/ thighs/ drumsticks)
  • 1 ½ cups of white wine
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • ½ lemon, zested & juiced
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey / pure maple syrup
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp cracked black pepper (not grounded!)

In a large bowl whisk the wine, lemon, olive oil, honey/maple syrup, salt&pepper. Mince the garlic cloves and slice the onions to fine rings, add them to the bowl as well. Finally, add the chicken and cover the bowl. Let it rest in the refrigerator for a minimum of two hours (or overnight if you have time). Heat the grill to medium-high and grill the chicken until yummy.
